Water Street Tavern & Inn is the easternmost tavern in the Continental USA. Located in a restored waterfront building in Lubec, Maine, with breathtaking views of the working waterfront, seals, eagles and bay islands. We are a true tavern providing travelers, friends and families lodging, food and drink. Endless water views can be enjoyed from the dining room, the outside deck, and the rooms for rent above and behind the Inn. We are a cozy place for locals, area visitors and travelers to gather.
Downeast fare with a slightly different flare. We serve your Downeast favorites and other creative menu items you might not expect to find and of course 2lb or more lobsters!
We have a fully licensed bar and carry a great selection of micro and craft beers on tap. The wine list is noted for its quality, diversity and reasonable prices. We strive to present a more upscale wine selection with few grocery store varietals.
